Research Interests

Caitlin graduated summa cum laude from Binghamton University with her B.A. in Psychology. She achieved the designation of Distinguished Independent Work in Psychology with her honors thesis, “Autobiographical Memory and Nonsuicidal Self-Injury,” which explored memory retrieval strategies of participants with and without a history of self-harm. During her time at Binghamton University, Caitlin worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Binghamton Mood Disorders Institute and the Laboratory of Consciousness and Cognition.

In the future, Caitlin plans to attend graduate school in clinical psychology with a focus on mood disorders and self-injurious behaviors. Caitlin joined the Psychosocial Research Department in June, 2011.
