Research Interests

Emily received a BA in Psychology with a minor in French from the University of Colorado at Boulder. While at the university, Emily assisted with projects at the Clinical Research, Education, Services and Treatment (CREST) laboratory focused on depression, mindfulness, and DBT, and led a recitation for a course in General Psychology. After graduation, Emily worked in substance abuse treatment and practiced psychotherapy with clinical supervision. Emily has worked with Dr. Armey since September 2012 on an experimental study on suicidality using ecological momentary assessment, as well as a treatment development study using ecological momentary intervention.

Emily plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Her areas of research interest include psychotherapy process and outcome, eating disorders, treatment development, and the use of technology for assessment and intervention.
